Lalaloopsy Crumbs Sugar Cookie Silly Hair Doll Review

These once rag dolls are known as the Lalaloopsy dolls. They magically came to life when their very last stitch was sewn. Each doll has their own personality that comes from the fabrics used to make them. There are several different Lalaloopsy dolls that live Lalaloopsy Land. They live in a colorful, silly world, and it’s your job to keep the magic of their world alive.

Having two daughters, I was really excited to be receiving a Lalaloopsy doll to review. I knew they would have a lot of fun with it. I didn't know which Lalaloopsy doll I was going to receive, but when I finally received the package and seen it was a Silly Hair doll, I was even more excited. The one I received was Crumbs Sugar Cookie.  When the girls seen it, they wanted to open it right away. When I finally opened it, they played with it for a long time.

About Crumbs Sugar Cookie:
Crumbs Sugar Cookie was made from pieces of a baking apron. She is super-sweet, has perfect manners, and loves inviting friends over for tea and treats. She even has a pet mouse.

She comes with a styling brush, 4 hair clips, 6 hair beads, and a pet mouse with a bendable tail. Crumbs Sugar Cookie has bendable hair that you can twist, twirl, flip, curl, and more to create endless silly hair styles.

One thing I really liked with the pieces to the hair clips, is that they can't really break. The closing piece can pop out, but easily snaps back in. The dolls head is loose, so it falls side to side; like you'd expect a "stitched" dolls head to be. Kinda like a puppet. Even though I like the idea, it actually made it a little hard to play with the hair. I actually had to hold the head. For children with little hands this might be a problem since the head is pretty large. Since the head is much larger then the body, and pretty heavy, it can't sit up unless you prop it up with something. Having said that, she can't stand either. It isn't that big of a problem, but I just wish it was a easier to control.

Now that my daughters' have this toy, they get so excited every time they see the commercial. My youngest will say, "that's my toy! that's my toy Mommy!" and she will run to get it from her room. I'm really happy they both like it, though I knew they would. It's a really great toy and idea, and I love the fact they have button eyes.

ARV: $34.99 though price can vary by store (Silly Hair Lalaloopsy Dolls)
