Zebra Pen Review

Zebra is a well-known pen company. They sell a huge variety of pens and have been for over 100 years. The have gel pens, ball-point pens, highlighters and markers, mechanical pencils, and more. Not only is the company a great maker of awesome pens, but they are also a great supporter in many organizations such as City of Hope, Go Red for Women, Kids in Need, and more.

I had the opportunity to review a few of their new products, and since I love to write and try out new pens, I couldn't resist. One of the sets I got to try were the Z-Grip Animals, which is part of their #1 selling line; the Z-Grip. I couldn't have been more excited to receive these. These pens have an awesome look to them, that I personally love.

They have animal prints! Anyone who knows me, knows that I love animal prints; especially leopard and zebra prints. If you're a writer, you know that not all pens are the same. Yea, they do the same thing, but they don't all write the same. When I first saw these pens, I was excited to be able to use them and see how well they would work, but I didn't want to keep my hopes up. Why? Well, any time I find a pen that I like the looks of, it turns out it doesn't write very well. To my surprise, they write wonderfully.

They make my hand writing look so much better and cleaner and the pen tip doesn't put out too much ink or scratch the paper like other pens do. They even have a rubber grip at the end so they are easier to hold and a clip to clip on your shirt, pants, bag, etc. They all have black ink, a 1.0mm tip (medium point), and they come in packs of 5. *Click Read More to read my review on the 'Erase Away' retractable ball point erasable pens and the Sarasa SE gel ink retractable pens.*

The next set I got to try were their 'Erase Away' retractable ball point erasable pen. These pens come in three different colors; red, black, and blue. I haven't had much experience with erasable pens, but the few I have used didn't erase the ink completely. They always made it so I could re-write whatever I needed to, but it would obvious there was ink there before.

When I first tried using one of these, it took a while to get the ink out. I know this happens with a lot of pens, but these took longer then they should have. The ink was coming out more grey, but the eraser did erase the ink completely, and only left the indentation from the pressure in the paper. I'm not sure how these would really work since I could not get the ink to come out completely.

These pens come in a pack of 2, and are available in three colors like I already mentioned above. The pen tip is 1.0mm (medium point) and these also include a grip at the end which make then easier and more comfortable to hold. They also include a clip and the ball point is retractable.
The last set I got to try were the Sarasa SE gel ink retractable pens. They come in pack of 4 and are available in several different colors. The pack I received included 4 different colors such as black, red, and blue.

I am a big fan of gel pens, but these didn't write like other gel pens I have used. That's not necessarily a bad thing, as they write smoothly, but I prefer the way other gel pens write (if I'm using a gel pen). The pen tip on these is only 0.7mm, which is also a medium point. I really like the colors they have available for these and I love the grip on these ones compared to the other pens with grips.
