Levenger L-Tech Plus Ballpoint Twist with Stylus Review

If you're an avid writer like me, you'd know that having a good quality writing utensil is very important. My handwriting quality depends on the type of pen I am using so I am very picky when it comes to pens and I always like having a pen that writes smoothly and glides across the paper. I'm always up for trying new pens so I definitely had a fun time trying out the L-Tech Plus Ballpoint Twist with Stylus by Levenger.

When I received this pen I was totally impressed and instantly fell in love with it. The way it came packaged exceeded my expectations. The pen lays secured in a nice case that has a soft fabric cushion and strap that holds the pen in place. The case was in a box and that box had a cardboard sleeve. This is just one reason why it would make a perfect gift for someone who loves to write or for someone who loves both worlds; old fashioned writing and the new world technology.

This first thing I noticed about this pen is that it has a good weight to it. This is because it is made with solid brass - you can be certain you're getting a good quality pen. I was hoping the stylus would work on my HTC phone because I hate when my screen gets dirty with finger smudges. It worked on my phone with no problem. I don't know about styluses much but I have been told that most are cheaply made and are very fragile. The stylus on the top of the pen is thick and durable. My fiancee said that it is better quality then most.

Levenger L-Tech Plus Ballpoint Twist with Stylus in Lavender
I love that they have color choices; you can choose between Chrome, Cobalt Blue, Copper, Lavender, and Rose. So to the most important part, how does it write? It writes smoothly and glides across the paper. I love the way it writes and it passes my quality test. The ballpoint can be exposed by just twisting the finger grip. The ink can be replaced by purchasing a ballpoint refill. If anything happens to the stylus, it can be removed easily by unscrewing it at the base. Stylus replacements are also available on the website.

The pen definitely meets my requirements for quality but now let's talk about price. It's a bit expensive - it retails for $69. This is a bit high for me when it comes to a ballpoint pen, but considering it has a stylus, the quality of the barrel and stylus, and the quality it gives my handwriting, I would pay more for this pen then other average priced ballpoint pens.
